Welcome. We are the Upper Montgomery Assistance Network. Our mission is to provide emergency financial assistance, education, and referral services to people in our community who are at risk of homelessness or are disconnected from vital utility services. UMAN was established in 1989. Through our Eviction Prevention Program, we arrange for funds to be provided to landlords, mortgage companies, or utility companies for residents who are facing immediate loss of housing or utility services. We have a staff of dedicated volunteers, a Board of Directors, a Volunteer Coordinator, and a Program Manager.
